Rare and collectable 1970s "transitional" Zenith Espada chronograph ref.01.0040.418. This model was the first in the world to be a fully automatic chronograph watch with calendar and moonphase functions, produced between 1973 to 1975 and only 500 were ever made. This is even rarer as a transitional model of a first series, which has double... serial and reference numbers engraved on the back case.
Stainless steel unpolished and excellent preserved case measures 38mm across excluding crown. Original dial is perfect. Powered by the brilliant 31 jewelled automatic Zenith calibre 3019 that keeps superb time and all functions work properly. The watch comes in a rare and preserved set
