1940s Universal Geneve Compax 30 Chronograph ref.22522 black gilt dial. Three body well preserved stainless steel case, measures 37mm. sloped bezel, snap on back, square pushers. Original black dial , gilt “30 Compax” writing, gilt arabic numerals, minutes division with 1/5th of seconds fraction, outer tachymeter scales, subdials for seconds, 30-min and 12 hour counters. Powered by a signed manual winding movement, caliber 287, column wheel system, lever escapement, monometallic balance with screws, blued Breguet hairspring. The watch is in overall good condition with normal signs of wear, it has been recently serviced.
