This single-register chronograph was produced in anticipation of the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, and came in three dial colors. This is a silver dial model. This watch features the silver dial color, and is powered by an in-house mono-pusher chronograph movement for a single 30-minute register. The dial retains its original tritium material and bright orange luminous chronograph hand. The outer white tachymeter track adds an additional dimension to the single-register dial layout, and the vibrant addition of the orange chronograph hand places the watch squarely in the 1970s. This is a very cool vintage Longines made even more interesting by the historical context around its creation. Stainless/steel case with following dimensions: 36mm diameter; 12mm thickness, plexiglass. Longines manual-winding chronograph caliber 334, based on the Valjoux caliber 236.
